Product Description
Custom 5-Axis CNC Machined Aluminum Alloy Complex Fixture Base
Quick detail
This complex aluminum fixture base is produced on 5-axis CNC machining centers. Integrated multi-cavity structure, threaded holes and locating cutouts are finished in one setup. It acts as core positioning fixture for automated assembly and precision inspection stations.
Product description
This custom fixture base adopts high strength aluminum alloy raw material. Thanks to 5-axis simultaneous machining, complex angular surfaces, deep cavities, threaded holes and precision locating notches can be completed without repeated re-clamping, which greatly eliminates cumulative positioning errors. Each hole position and angular feature is strictly controlled to meet assembly tolerance.
At Chenrong Precision, our workshop is equipped with multiple 5-axis machining centers for complex custom parts. Before production, our engineering team reviews drawings and creates optimized machining fixture strategy to avoid deformation during material removal. After machining, the parts go through deburring, ultrasonic cleaning and surface finishing. Aluminum material delivers light weight and good rigidity, ideal for frequently repositioned automation tooling.

FAQ
Q: What is DFM review? Will it charge extra cost?
A: DFM means Design for Manufacturability review. Our engineer checks your drawing and gives optimization advice, this service is free for our customers.
Q: What anodizing color options can you supply for aluminum parts?
A: Clear natural anodizing is standard, black anodizing is most popular. Other colors can be quoted upon request with MOQ requirement.
Q: Can you make design modification based on our prototype test feedback?
A: Yes, we can adjust hole positions, cavity depth or outline according to your revised drawings.
Q: What is the minimum order quantity for 5-axis machined fixture parts?
A: We accept 1 piece prototype order, no mandatory MOQ. Unit price will be adjusted for mass production.
Q: How do you verify complex geometric tolerances on multi-angle features?
A: We use CMM coordinate measuring machine to inspect 3D geometric tolerance and provide official inspection reports.

JThey delivered exactly that. No loose machining swarf in internal channels, passivation per ASTM F86 after machining, and lot numbers laser-marked on each piece so we can trace back to the raw material batch. Our QA team didn't send a single part back. Pricing is mid-range not the cheapest quote we got, but the documentation saved us more in internal inspection time than the premium cost.

JDimensional accuracy is reliable. Only a small amount of manual polishing needed on sharp edges. Overall quality meets our mechanical assembly standard.

EThe custom dense‑fin aluminum heat sinks work well on our new‑energy control modules. Fin deformation rate is very low after CNC milling. Thermal performance matches our lab test expectation.
