PAQ / FAQ
Q1: What material do you use for this locating block?
A: Standard material is 6061 aluminum alloy. 7075 aluminum alloy can be chosen when higher strength is required.
Q2: What benefits does hard anodizing bring?
A: Hard anodizing greatly improves surface hardness, wear resistance and corrosion resistance, suitable for repeated positioning and friction scenarios.
Q3: What drawing formats do you accept for quotation?
A: STEP, IGES, STL, DWG, DXF and PDF. 3D STEP file is preferred for accurate quotation.
Q4: What is your MOQ?
A: Flexible MOQ. We accept 1 piece for prototype, small batch and mass production.
Q5: What tolerance can you achieve?
A: Normally ±0.005~0.02mm. We can meet strict tolerance requirements according to your drawing.
Q6: How long is the prototype lead time?
A: Normally 3–7 working days for prototype. Bulk lead time depends on quantity and machining complexity.

EProbably an unusual use case: I needed a modern, clean-looking bearing housing for a rotating art piece going into a lobby installation. Most off-the-shelf bearing blocks are cast iron or painted steel and look clunky. This aluminum post with the triangular flange and brushed finish fits the aesthetic I wanted. Machining quality held up, no visible tool marks, edges clean. The artist client didn't even realize it was a "made for machines" part.
