    Probably an unusual use case: I needed a modern, clean-looking bearing housing for a rotating art piece going into a lobby installation. Most off-the-shelf bearing blocks are cast iron or painted steel and look clunky. This aluminum post with the triangular flange and brushed finish fits the aesthetic I wanted. Machining quality held up, no visible tool marks, edges clean. The artist client didn't even realize it was a "made for machines" part.
